What is the recommended care for my home goods?
Most of our products are constructed from easy care and long-lasting 100% cotton or cotton blends and can be washed in your machine with other similar items. Fabrics and towels used in creating our home goods are usually pre-treated in perfume and dye free detergents and no softeners are used to help prevent possible allergic reactions. We recommend cold water washes for a variety of reasons but any of our items that can be washed should hold up through any temperature cycle. If you have received a product with specific instructions that differ from this recommendation then please continue to refer to that information.

Can I wash my quilt in the machine?
Absolutely! Every quilt we make is not only meant to be something beautiful but also something enjoyed everyday so easy care is a must. Most fabrics used in the construction have been pre-washed in dye and perfume free detergents and no added softeners to cut down on possible allergic reactions and reduce color bleed in future washes. For any quilt that has been constructed with machine techniques you are fine to wash on a normal cycle and we recommend cold water for longer lasting color. If your quilt was constructed with hand techniques then we recommend a gentle cycle and cold water. A care recommendation card should have been included with your purchase.

Do you offer custom orders?
Definitely! Contact us with details of what you're seeking and we'll let you know if we can help. Certain times of year can be busier than others so please contact us sooner than later if you're considering an item that will be for a specific occasion. Custom Quilts in particular require a significant lead time as we like to work very closely with you to create just the right design and we suggest you make these requests about 6 months in advance. Not everything requires that kind of planning though so don't hesitate to reach out.

I purchased one of your sample knits, can I wash that in the machine?
Maybe. Each sample knit was a means for me to develop a pattern so fiber choice wasn't always made with ease of care in mind. A care card should have been included with your purchase and the instructions listed there are the best option. If you didn't receive that card or have misplaced it, no worries, just email us and we should be able to get you that information.
